Newsletter

If you subscribe via the form on /blog or at the end of a post, your email address is sent to Buttondown, which stores it and delivers new posts to you by email. I don't run my own mailing infrastructure. Buttondown sends a confirmation email before adding you to the list (double opt-in), and every email it sends includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Buttondown's own privacy policy covers what they do with subscriber data.

To delete your address, use the unsubscribe link in any email or write tohello@mjrossi.com and I'll remove you.

You don't have to use the form at all. RSS reaches the same posts and tells me nothing about you, and if you'd rather not hand your address to a third party, email hello@mjrossi.com and I'll add you to the list by hand.

Anti-spam

The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstileto block automated submissions. Turnstile is a CAPTCHA replacement that doesn't set tracking cookies and is designed not to require user-identifying signals. It runs only where that form is rendered — the blog index and the foot of each post — and nowhere else on the site. This is the disclosure the form's own fine print used to carry; it lives here now, and the form links to this page.

Hosting and logs

This site is served by Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare receives the standard request metadata any web host receives (IP address, user agent, requested URL) and applies its own DDoS and security protections. I don't run analytics, third-party trackers, or advertising on the site. There are no cookies set by this site.

Changes

If this changes, it'll change here. Questions: hello@mjrossi.com.
